Product DescriptionBaByliss StraightenerDirectionsINSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • Ensure hair is dry and combed through to remove any tangles. Divide the hair into sections ready for styling. • Remove the silicon plate guard and allow the plates to open. For safety reasons you will not be able to switch the straightener on whilst in the closed position. • Press and hold the on/off button for 1-2 seconds and a green LED and gentle notification sound will indicate that the straightener is switched on. • Once the straightener is on it will automatically start heating up to 160°C and a white LED will illuminate along the metallic strip. • There a 5 heat settings. To select the next heat setting press the on/ off button until the desired temperature is reached. • The LED will flash whilst the straightener is heating up to the chosen setting and will stop flashing when the target temperature has been reached and is ready to use. • Place a section of hair between the straightening plates, close to the roots. • Hold the hair firmly between the straightening plates and slide down the length of the hair, from root to tip in one smooth movement. • Repeat for each section of hair. • Allow the hair to cool before combing through. • After use, press and hold the on/off button for 1-2 seconds, the gentle notification sounds indicates the straightener has switched off. • Once the straightener has switched off, place the heat resistant silicon plate guard over the straightening plates in a closed position. • Allow the appliance to cool before storing away.Safety WarningWARNING! No repair must be attempted by the consumer. • Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on or plugged in. • During use, do not place the appliance on any heat sensitive surface, even when using the heat wrap provided. • WARNING! Only hold the handle during use. Do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance when in use as these can be extremely hot. • Take care to avoid the hot surface of the appliance coming into direct contact with the skin, in particular the eyes, ears, face and neck. • In the event of the appliance being left switched on, the appliance will automatically shut off after 60 minutes.
