This natural product is safe for all wildlife in your nature pond.Whenever you use tap water in your pond, whether to fill a new pond or to top up an existing pond, you should dechlorinate it. Chlorine is a gas which is added to our tap water to kill bacteria, viruses and other pollutants. If you add untreated tap water to your pond it will kill good bacteria as well as bad. The bacteria in your filter media are there to do the job of breaking down and processing organic matter and so you need to look after them.If your pond is new it will not contain the beneficial bacteria that are needed to convert fish waste from toxic ammonia to less toxic nitrate. Therefore, you need to look after them and mature them slowly so that they gradually become established and able to process this waste.Calculate the volume of your pond. Shake the bottle well, then remove dosage chamber cap and foil seal. Squeeze the bottle sides gently until the 25ml dosage chamber is full. Add 1 x 25ml measure for every 227litres (50 gals).
