Using the perching stool can help reduce the risk of falls and slips in the home. The Compact Easy is a modular stool, supplied in several parts that are extremely easy to assemble in only a couple of minutes. This means that the stool is highly portable and ideal if you are going on holiday or to visit friends. It even comes in a handy carry box for storage and travel. At 5 kg the stool is fairly light to carry, lift or manoeuvre. The perching stool can be fitted together quickly without the need for tools. The four legs are simply twisted into position on the underside of the seat with the large, easy-to-grip screw fixings which are ideal for frail hands. The left and right armrests slot into the sides of the seat and the backrest similarly slots onto the back.The stool is constructed from epoxy coated steel so it is strong, reliable and durable. It features a comfortable seat and backrest made from hard wearing polyurethane which has a slip-resistant texture and is warm to the touch, even in a cold bathroom. The seat, measuring 360 mm deep and 440 mm wide, slopes forward slightly which enables you to perch in a relaxed position when sitting and also to assist in rising. The light blue design of the stool is modern with clean, smooth lines, making it distinct in any home decor. The legs are splayed outwards slightly to increase the stool's stability and they feature rubber, non-slip ferrule feet making it suitable for use on tiled, wet and slippery floors. The armrests also provide support when you are sitting down and rising up from the stool. When fitted, there is 450 mm width between the armrests. Since the armrests and backrest are removable, the stool is flexible and can be used as a basic stool or stool with just arms if required. The height of the seat can be adjusted via simple e-clips in increments of 25 mm between 535 mm and 685 mm. The height of the armrests is therefore between 710 mm and 860 mm. At its highest setting, the stool requires maximum floor space of 590 mm width at the front, 600 mm width at the back and 485 mm depth. The lowest total height of the stool with its backrest fitted is 825 mm and the highest is 975 mm.
